Windshield Pantograph arm bearing -

The bearings on the pantograph arms are getting loose. I found new replacements at American Bus and accessories. The part number shown here is the correct one for 316 which was built in 1993. Be sure to check compatibility. The first ones they sent were the correct part number on the bag with the wrong part in the bag. The quickly sent me the correct part after I called.

We ran into our bearings being completely worn out....take a look at this post.....https://newellgurus.com/showthread.php?tid=5077&page=2&highlight=pivot+bearing. The cliff note version is there is a part that fits international trucks that is an exact replacement.....422628001 OE International Wiper Bearing Kit. There happens to be two available on Ebay right now.

So have the same issue with one of my wipers on coach 480. Lots of slope on the bearing side, which causes poor wiper engagment to the windshield.. So when you go the part it comes as the pic shows ??? easy to put on ??

Removing the wiper arms is the hardest part but not bad if you have a good pry tool ( be sure to remove nuts under the wiper arm cover). I used a nail bar and a small piece of wood under the fulcrum point against the body. The bracket is held by the large nut on main shaft and the 7/16” bolt on other end. Once bracket is removed the motor is hanging on the back side of the body. Having an assistant on the inside to hold motor in place is very helpful. 15 minute job if you can find all the needed tools??

You can get an inexpensive puller at most auto stores to pull the arms off. Mark the threaded portion of the driven arm before removing the nut. When you reinstall keep the orientation or the stroke could be out of kilter
