Solar racking frame mount - HELP! - Gem930 - 03-19-2026

I am getting ready to mount the racking for a large solar system and I am looking for some information on the dimensions of the roof framing.  I have photo I'll attach showing the basic lay out that can be seen when the snow on top was melting, but looking for something a little more detailed.  Particularly on the outside edges where the roof rolls down to the sides, as my "slush outlines" are lacking there. Can anyone provide any useful information?

THX!!!

Gregg

If you are trying to determine where to mount the brackets the rivets on the roof will show the roof cross bows.

Yes, that obviously makes sense, and the obviously line up with my “slush marks” I was more interested in the construction under the corner bows.  My marks do not show anything.  Unfortunately the way my rack is designed it will now fit exactly where the rivets are.  I guess in the simplest terms I just need to know if there are any longitudinal beams, running between the rivets down each side under the bows.

I apologize Gregg. I don’t understand what you are trying to do. I can show you how I did mine (316) Hopefully that will answer your q. I can tell you that we just traveled from Natchez, MS to Northern Indiana last Monday / Tuesday. through several storms with constant 30-40 mph gusts and it held up. The panels are clamped to the longitudinal rails. The side skirts are aluminum and are not load bearing. They are only there to keep wind from entering from the perimeter.
Do I understand that you have a frame? Can you post a pic?

Here are pictures of #504 I did this 3 years ago, if it were me I would move the rails toward the center of the roof about 6-12 inches on each side this will lessen the load on the ends of the solar panels from the weight of them bouncing around going down the road. Deans coach is stealth looking he is a pro at fabrication.
