Air regulator near Aquahot - markkitch - 04-16-2026

Hi guys,

Need a little guidance.

The air regulator in the curb side aquahot bay seems to have gone bad, it has a body leak. Not a problem I have a new regulator.

My questions:
1) I have not figured out what this regulator is for, the slides are working properly? Any ideas?
2) To keep me from creating my next project, please let me know what psi it should be set at, I don't want to blow something out.

A couple of pics below.

I appreciate the help.

We held off on our first shake down trip, waiting for those diesel prices to crash. We depart second week of May to Key West, a few stops (New Orleans, Mexico Beach, Tampa, Orlando on the way back).

Thanks!!!!

As far as I understand it, that regulator and pressure switch is for the 12v compressor and that runs my air doors and toilet only. I do not have slides so cannot say if it would keep slide seals pumped up too or not. I believe it operates around 60psi. I just replaced my 12v compressor with a ultra quiet compressor.

Here is my video of the new compressor:

Makes perfect sense, we haven't used the toilet. This is a great help thank you.

You have great videos, I have seen a few of them.

What Jeff said!

agree with Jeff and Richard. should be set to around 60 psi I believe. If you have air leaks it is a good idea to leave the 12 volt air pump switch in the on position when docking. This will keep you from accidentally overflowing the toilet when air pressure drops. JMO ( ask how I learned this)

Pro-Tip! very good to know. This information is on a sticky note and will be monitored appropriately.

Nobody likes toilet malfunctions.
