A Day in the Life - Travelling in a Motorcoach - hypoxia - 05-31-2026

Yesterday was noteworthy.  I got on the freeway at 8AM and a few miles down the road I smelled coolant.  The temperature was rapidly rising thru 200°.  By the time I got it stopped on the side of the road it was 215°.  An AquaHot 3/4" X 1/2" plastic hose adapter had broken.  I had a spare & 1 1/2 hours later we were on our way again, topped off with water.

Was notified the refrigerator lights were off & in fact the inverters were not working.  Rather than troubleshooting that, I started the generator & ran it all day.  I called Jimmy at Newell, duh, turned the inverter control ON.  That cured that, who knows why it turned itself off or why it wasn't part of my thought process.

Went to plug into the 50A campsite power & when I raised the lid a bunch of wasps flew out.  One did a flyby and stung me on the tip of my nose on its way.
