I built a towed for Rzr. 2012 Silverado long wheelbase pickup. We removed the p/u bed and built an all aluminum bed that is truly one of a kind. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachments/welding/332187d1376534570-hot-chicks-welding-inspectors-great-billys-truck-22.jpg

The toter is a 385 Peterbuilt Swalbe four door with a Newmar fifthwheel. The pickup is towed behind the fifth wheel. Yeah, I know, he's too long but he doesn't care.

Wow, very nice. Oh yeah you'll fit in here!
Where do you ride? Last year we started full timing in early January and towed the Rzr 570 in the back of our Z71. Rode a bit in CO, SD, ID, FL. Looking forward to putting more miles on it this year.

I don't ride but the client friend spends the winter along the Colorado river in AZ, spring and fall in north Texas, summers up north. He loves his Rzr, enough that he bought the pickup just to carry it. his old towed was a four door Wrangler.

It was a challenging build. He likes lights, 384 LED bulbs in the brake/tail between the bumper and head ache rack for instance. He's 75 so we had to engineer everything for not lifting much weight or much bending over to use. He loves it that he can't go anywhere without people wanting to talk about his truck.

RE: Rzr riding - DK on the road - 01-20-2019

Bump to an older thread !

Does anyone still get together for rides ?

I'd love to learn new areas and join up. We have a bit of snow in the Sierra's now but, I could take you on a endless trails in the Tahoe National Forest when the weather is better, if any of you are near the West coast.

I never thought that Newell folks would be into offroading. This is bringing 2 of my passions together.

I'm an avid offroad / trail rider on my dual sport dirt bike. I'd like to think I can go anywhere you folks could go on RZR's and keep up.

Slowing down in old age. Started off- roading on a 1955 Harley Hummer 125. First real off road bike was a 1972 360 Yamaha enduro then went through many different bike with the last one being 2004 crf250 Honda. Then went to ATV's till 2011. Now have been riding RZR's for the last 8 years and the RZR are by far the safest and most fun. Over the years I have ridden from coast to coast and hope to continue as long as possible. We have many places here in TN close, Royal Blue, Wind Rock, and Brimstone.  Will be going to CO, NM, WY and UT for Jul-Aug. I travel with Goldwing on back of M/C , flat towing 1500 RAM with 1000 S RZR in back. and enjoy street and trailing riding. Hope to meet people to do both.
