Aquahot Fuel Filter Operation
#1

Hey All,
I was looking at my Aquahot fuel filter assembly and am a bit confused. It has a couple of protrusions at the bottom,. One appears to be the drain screw.. Not sure what the other is, maybe the spou it drains from?

But on the top of the housing is another plastic screw/wheel... is this a bleed device?

How does this one work?

Thanks!

The bottom is to drain water, the top is a priming pump.

Richard,
Thanks, I have to look closer at the top one, I know it screws out, but didnt realize it's a pump as well. I have a replacement filter to install, so that will make it much easier!

Thanks!

You should also have a similar filter setup on your generator.

There is a clear, well it used to be, bottom screwed to the filter element. The center post holds it to the filter, the hex to the side is the drain.
