The vacuum pump mod was the first thing I did to my RV. It was under $200 and it took me about 3 hours from start to tested and all cleaned up. What took me some time was a work around from drilling holes in the basement wall to secure the pump. I ended up using heavy duty velcro to stick the pump to the wall. It is a great piece of mind when I move the slides. I think I'm avoiding the big cost of a rolled slide seal every time I operate the slides now.
