bottom of slide sticking out after sitting
#11

Larry, I think the bottom of the slide could creep out some even with the top slide locking pins engaged. The concern then would be if the torque was enough to shear the locking pins.

The extend solenoid replacement seems to have fixed the creep. The have been in for about a month or so with no creep

Tom did you mean the extend solenoid? "Extract" sounds like something Larry drinks.

We have the opposite problem with our bedroom slide.  When we bring it in the top of the slide comes in about 3/4 inch further than it should and the pins don't lock. The bottom comes in just right. Water then can get in when going down the road in heavy rain because the seal is not sealed in the right place.

Anyone had this problem and how did they solve it?

Hello. I have a 2003 #642, Newell and I noticed the rear slide is creeping out at the bottom. Since your repair 4 years ago, do you have anything additional to add? I will start looking at replacing the extend solenoid. Thank you.
