Heater core(dash) leaking
#11

I had the heater core to leak 2years ago. I never saw any water but smell antifreeze. In cold moist condition when the defroster ran condensation would form on the inside of windshield which made driving hard to see. You can put a small electric heater on the dash to get you out of the jam until you can fix. I did have to remove the core which had a pin hole that we welded up. The dash is a pretty good job removing.

Been working under the dash. The temperature knob is connected to a cable that disappears down by the heater core. I presume it connects to an inline valve.
