changing both electric elements on aquahot
#11

After breaking my back using a breaker bar....with zero success. I took Rudy's advice and started using impact drivers. First a 330 ft/;b battery one. No joy. Then an air powered 700 ft/lb one and finally an 8.5 amp electric one. No joy.

NONE worked.

Until I had a generous friend bring over the 220v commercial compressor. Took about 5 minutes of pounding, but the back element finally gave way when we switched back to a 24" breaker bar. Boy, was I ever happy!. Put the new 220V element in put the fluid back in and purged. Now it heats up again on electric!

Only hitch was the rounded off 120v element that will have to wait until spring!

Thanks,

Be seeing you,
