There is a 1/4" air line that is capped off in my water compartment. Any idea what it might be for?

My '86 has an air operated dump valve with 1/4" line  on passenger side of coach . I have never used it , I suppose your coach may have had the same thing and it has been removed at some point .

Is it possibly the 1/4" water line to the ice maker?

No it appears to be an air supply line. An air operated dump might be the purpose. Nothing like that is there presently but the compartment has been redone a time or two it appears and now I have gutted it and in the process of restoring it. Floor was rotten and had to be replaced.

My air operated dump is on the passenger side also, the only time I used it was to get the guy following too close with his high beams on to back off. JK
