Saw my 2nd Newell in the wild a few weeks ago in Hannibal, MO. First was just north of Taylor, MO on 61, believe it or not on my very first trip. Poor ol’ girl is parked in the front yard just begging for someone to come and spring her. See her now on every trip to IA.
7k with no sightings is pretty crazy, especially in summer.
