Transfer switch
#11

Does anyone have a picture of the internals of the new Surge guard model # 40350RVC that Newell is using is coaches as their replacement for the old Power Switch transfer box.

We want to know if our large 2 gauge power wires will hook up easily to the contactors in the box.

All pictures I have seen on line of various 50 amp transfer switches have smaller gauge wire than we have.

Thanks in advance

Rick,

I just installed that Surge Guard you're referencing in #586. I don't have any pictures of the inside though. I checked my deleted photos to be sure.
A difficulty I had was with the green wire. Making a bend and getting the wires into the bus bar was a challenge. Both hots and nuetrals all around were easy enough to install.
If my coach has 2 gauge wires from the factory then you shouldn't have any problems installing it.
