For the last week or so, the rear of the coach has been a bit low.    Not sure whether it happened gradually or all at once.

Today, I started the engine, brought the coach to travel height, then leveled and shut down.    Air pressure was 120 throughout.     Then, about a half hour after the reset, a loud air release came from the rear.    I opened the right side engine access where is was happening but couldn't pinpoint the source before it abruptly stopped releasing on its own.   Total re

Hello fellow Guru's

I have been working on my 2008 Newell (1223) for about a year trying to understand its air intake system and its limitations and have finally put together a video discussing what the various problems are and what I am doing to correct the situation.

I would appreciate any comments, advice or experience with the issues discussed from any of the members.

The video can be found here.

I have an air leak on my toilet. It is coming from the valve on the inside that connects to the handle. There is a brass cap on the end with a small hole in the middle. That is where the air is coming from. Any ideas what the fix for this is?

This topic has been covered in other threads about air bags, but usually hidden in within threads.

On coaches with Ridewell rear suspensions, Goodyear air bags made in the last five years, maybe longer, have a known design feature that does not play well with the Ridewell suspension. It is at it’s worst with the tag air bag.

Let me describe the problem and then illustrate with pictures. If you look at the Ridewell suspension it pivots at one end, and the air bag is located at the other e

I have recently bought a 2009 Newell and have been getting work done on it at Newell HQ.  I have been using all 4 air conditioners which have been working even in the triple digits temp currently.  All at once, I noticed that the air 3 and 4 in the bedroom were still blowing but not cold anymore.

So I have checked the breakers and they are on and I cycled them and no change.  They still blow are but not very cold at all.  I have tried the generator to see if there was a power issue and there

Has anyone found a supplier for the air seals for the slide outs besides Newell?

Wondering if we could get one for the bedroom slide without having to buy the large one and cutting it down like Newell wants us to do.

Thanks for any help you can give us!!

I want to use an external air compressor temporally to provide air pressure to the coach. I can't find an input for the air.
I have 2 air outlets in the PS engine bay. High pressure and Pnuematic tools .
I think those are outputs thru an air pressure increaser.
is there a plug to put air in to the system (like when you have to tow the RV)

Thanks in advance

Had the rear AC stop working, the coach has the 4 roof top A/C units all controlled by the thermostat in the kitchen.
  • I checked the capacitor and it is good
  • the fan still runs
  • the compressor kicks in for 5 seconds or so and is back off
  • the compressor is warm to the touch
  • the lines from the compressor are not cold
  • the unit looks original from 2005
  • Would this unit work as a replacement? Dometic Brisk II RV Air Conditioner 13,500 BTU - White B57915.XX1C0
