Great post, would have thought that the Steve Miller Band had a later model Newell, being from Idaho and all....

RE: SMB Newell pic!! - HoosierDaddy - 09-03-2015

Actually , Jon I think that is an older pic. Here is one from more recent. I think he had this Newell as late as 2014....Maybe still using it.

The link in the original post to the first photo indicates the post was from 2009. Dean, that coach looks very similar to #409, the 1996 Steve Miller coach which, in turn, is very similar to your #316 (1993). With just the front view, it is difficult to tell, could be anywhere from 1996-1999.

The new Facebook links also looks like #409 from the side, same window and door arrangement, but it has the model year 2000 front cap and mirrors and roof airs that #409 did not start life with. I know #409 was in a wreck in the summer of 2015 to the right front. I guess it is possible that they upgraded the front cap to the newer style then or it could be a newer coach.

I thought someone said 409 had been totaled.

RIP Coach 409

I think this is the link to the pics.

Just because a coach has been totaled by the insurance company does not mean that it isn't still on the road just that the cost of fixing it is nearly as much as the value of the coach.  Once a coach is totaled by the insurance company that had it insured will typically no long insure that coach.  Depending on the degree of customization, it might (or might not) have been purchased from the insurance company and repaired.

Good catch Clint.
