OK, here is what the tech found: the check valve located up front near the dryer had been disabled at some time in the past. A spring was missing that caused it to completely close under high pressure, but would allow low pressure air to pass. There is one on the shelf here in Wichita and it will be put on tomorrow. We'll see how it goes. Thanks everybody. Look for my next post on how to stop the phones from ringing!
