Coach improvements
#1

I'm always looking for ways to make things easier or more organized on my coach. I'm interested in hearing from others on neat projects or improvement you've made or intend to make on the interior or the exterior of your coach to make life easier.

My next improvement I'm going to make is to add an air hose reel to the storage compartment behind the right side tag wheel. It will organize my air hoses and make adding air to the tires much easier.

I posted in September that I installed a "BrakeSwitch" which enabled me to have my jake brake on all of the time and it only operates when the brake light is actuated. I can bypass the new devise when going down a long grade. Loving it. Soon I will install an amplifier which will enable me to hear when the turn signal is left on.

Being a fulltimer, I always seem to need more storage in the kitchen. There was a draw that always bothered me, because I could not utilize all the space it was taking up.
The first picture is the original draw.
The second show how I was able to lower all 3 draws 2".
The third is the new draw. The top piece is actually the old draw, with the rear side relieved to clear the P trap.
The fourth picture is with the top piece "opened"

Not beautiful, but very functional

Gordon,

The drawer that you altered looks like the trashcan drawer.

Where do you keep the trashcan now?

Chester,
I have your "BrakeSwith" project on my list of things I want to do. That is a good one!

The Trash draw is 2 draws toward the front. Same size as I modified.

Today, I installed the turn signal amplifier. I is loud enough that I should no longer run down the road with my signal on. I installed it through the a/c vent on the passenger side.
