How are your mini splits performing?

Arch did you have any issues finding an HVAC company to work on your coach?

Lots of information here that I am not really understanding..Arch did he do your complete install?
Our units are currently running 24/7! Our daughter and husband sold their house and are living here with us in our coach. The front unit has already quit again and Jeff was able to fix it another time with the help of our SIL! He told me I had better start looking into the info cause ours can go again anytime! So I am trying to gather some info!

Which is easiest..Roof air or this way?

If you currently have basement air roof air would be more difficult to do as the wiring would have to go up instead of down plus you would have to cut a hole the ceiling. What is SIL?

Have you contacted Shelburne R/V in Cleveland Tn,  ( Chattanooga ) ? They are basement a/c specialists. They also have several r/v repair companies around the country that they have taught the ins and outs of basement air. 

We were going to visit them to bring our two non op  a/c back from the dead, but we discovered an HVAC man in a remote area in Texas willing to learn about ours, and see if he could do the work. He was successful on 1 unit, and now will do his best on unit 2

L2 houses the ducted inside unit, like Jack installed midcoach above his fridge. The floor was sealed with new sheet metal and supplies return air thru entry stairs, again as originally designed. I had ductwork fabricated to connect the ducted minisplit directly to the original Newell ducts that supplies the entire coach. the only thing that I changed was to add one additional 5in hose into the salon. finally a condensate drain is plumbed thru the floor to just dump on the ground.

The one thing I overlooked was winter condensate/defrost drainage in R2, which has since been remedied by installing a fabricated drain pan. 

Would I do things differently if i were to do it again? A tiny tweek here and there, but overall, with 3 1/2 seasons and almost 1 year of use, I am quite simply thrilled. 
Our temperature has ranged from teens to very hummid 100+

Thank you again Jack and Tim for all of your patient help (aka. 40thousand pestering questions) while i was planning out our system.

Looks like you had removed the original SCS carpeted central return air plenum....is that correct?

I have the SCS UNITS in #465 The previous owner had replaced quite a few things on both units in the not too distant past. I used both units this weekend with temperatures in the mid to high 80s. Very humid cool the interior to 69 to 70°. I know it was working well in the rear because my wife said it’s actually getting too cold in there.   So by going to the one unit, did you gain additional bass storage?

I'm on my third mini split conversion now, this one will be interesting as the cruise air units (3 of them) where located in the very front of bus. The cruise air units all together are 3.5 tons and I'm going to use one 2 ton 3 zone LG smart inverter compressor.
