i thought i would start a new thread on my replacing the front salon slide seal. i followed paul's thread with great interest on doing his. that said, my slide mechanisms are very different. so it will be a different process.
there is no access to the two slide rams in the front driver side front wheel well or in the bay behind the entrance door. shucks...that would have been alot easier.
on mine, you have to unthread the two rams after dropping the slide floor. i will take pictures as i do it. also, paul in his coach had a limit switch you had to remove that senses when the slide is fully extended.
mine doesnt have the same kind. mine has a sensor that is tripped by a magnet, just like the magnets on top of the slide that sense when the slide is in and puts the slide pins down.
my cart is done except for glueing the carpet on the two platforms.
i am just finishing up putting the new inverter in and once that is done i will start on the slide.
the magnetic sensor was in the bay directly under the center of the slide.
once i get the inverter in, i will pull the slide in just a little so i can take the valence off and all the pieces that stop the slide from extending completely out.
