Make sure you get the kit and not just the sensor. Why? It appears to me that the sensors have standardized on a five pin setup, meaning it has an idle validation circuit. However, the DDEC III at least requires a three pin setup. The cable that comes with the kit adapts the five pin sensor to the three wire Packard connector.

Thanks for posting Richard. I am going to go ahead and get one as a spare. 

Reminds me I also need to get an SRS and TRS to carry along.
If you have a Series 60 I highly recommend carrying a spare SRS and TRS. I will try to get a photo of them to show where they are located on the engine. So both sensors are required to allow the engine to start, then it will run on only one sensor. So if you are have an issue where the engine turns over but will not start, these what I would try first.
Best thing is to look them up by your engine serial number. I will see about looking mine up and I will let you know the part numbers.
