You have options at this point. One, Newell had the board redesigned. They sell them. It won’t be a direct for a one compressor unit, but lot’s of folks on here can walk you through how to wire it. Pricey, but a quick solution. I have seen the board and it is nicely done.
Two, have the existing board repaired. And add external relays(https://newellgurus.com/showthread.php?tid=3252&page=5) or you will be right back where you started.
Three, follow Ginos Garage post on completely replacing the controls with common house style controls.
Thanks for chiming in.
1. With the redesigned board. Newell told me they only have boards for the big 2 compressors "2702 units". I was thinking, could I use that and only use half of it?? Also Newell fixed my burned up big one. So does that mean I don't need the relay conversion on that one anymore??
2. Depending on what you say about the first question may answer this question about the relays. I have a spare board that looks a little bit different but pretty similar to what was in it.
3. I'm saving Jeff's solution as a last ditch effort in order to save my weary brain cells and it being too far about my electrical pay grade.
