I am easily confused by English. As a southern redneck it is a second language for me.
The first pic looks like a modified SCS board. I say that because it has SCS printed on it, and it has the plug for the tstat. The new boards that I saw from Newell had a modified plug that the tstat wires attached into. Maybe my memory is corrupt.

Is the board in the first pic? One that was repaired by Newell? Or a new board from Newell?
I am so sorry to drag this out but the answer really drives the best solution.
If the board pictured on the left is NOT a NEW board from Newell, then get a board from Newell. It will have instructions for wiring it. You will simply not wire in the lower section for the second compressor.
