Oil Pressure
#2

Okay - here is what I have learned. I searched and found the senders listed as being 10 - 180 ohms. I made up a resitor of 168 ohms, as close as I could get to 180 without going over, and tried that. I got a reading of 70 psi on the dash gauge. Looks like 180 would be 80 psi. So happy that I have the right range of sender. NAPA wants $50 but Amazon will have at my door for $28. There are several part numbers that I think will work. Looks like the exact match is P/N 360-005. Amazon did not have that one, but had 360-009 which has an extra terminal and internal switch for a dash light if you want a low oil pressure warning light. They both ground to the engine, as does the original 360-005. So hopefully that is the end of this story.
