The latch used on the early 90's coaches were from a 1983-1987 Ford or Lincoln passenger front door. Here is one for sale: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NOS-1983-1989-FO...0986904541

Since yours is a pre-1983, they must have used an earlier model but I don't know which one.
