I have pulled the ad from RvTrader. I felt the honest thing to do was tell prospective buyers that I had not yet proven that there was no mechanical problems with the transmission. As some of you may recall, a couple times last summer late in a long day of driving the trans temp gauge would slowly rise at a rather fixed rate independent of speed. I had two separate Allison shops check out the transmission and neither could find anything wrong.
I got Allison manuals and cannot come up with a logic for the transmission heating up this particular pattern. So, I have purchased and installed a new sensor and a new gauge. I will take a long 2 day drive to affirm that all is good. In the meantime, nothing has changed and I'll continue to hang out with you all.
