Roger,

If you remove the cover for the switch, you will see it has adjustments for the pressure for the pump to turn on and for the pump to turn off. That should be in the instructions.

Of course, with the cover removed, you will be exposed to 110V so be careful where you are poking your screwdriver when making the adjustments.

You want the pump to come on at 70 psi and turn off at 90 psi. Use the supply gauge at the driver's console to read the pressure.

Please take a picture of your water separator associated with 110V pump. Newell used several different configurations, and some were chronic leakers, so a previous owner may have done something different. It's hard to comment on what may be happening with your pressure release until we know what you have.
