Winterization has begun...

We are on several waiting lists for a storage space that has electricity available. Until then I do have a enclosed storage unit with a door. 

Today I bought 25 gallons of RV antifreeze. 

Turned off pumps.

Drained the water tank. 

Removed drinking water filters.

Removed coach water filter string cartridge.

Pumped the antifreeze in to the water tank. 

Turned on water pump. 

Ran galley sink hot/cold until all pink.

Ran 1/2 bath sink hot/cold until all pink. Flushed toilet twice all pink.

Ran master bath sink hot/cold until all pink. Flushed toilet twice all pink. Ran tub on hot and cold until all pink then placed shower head in bottom of tub until all pink. 

Started washing machine and cycled through all hot/warm/cold water settings until tub was filling with pink. Ran spin cycle until pink was drained. 

Remaining items:

Exercise 12v pump.

Disconnect water line to refrigerator and galley filtered water spicket. Apply low air pressure to lines to blow them out. Exercise residential refrigerator in door water. 
Ideally the fresh water filter system should have bypass valves. 

Add antifreeze windshield wiper fluid to tank to prevent freezing. 

Take coach to storage. Disconnect house and engine batteries. Hook up solar trickle chargers. 

Visit coach every week to check battery voltage and monthly take out of storage unit and bring to house for a few days of 50 amp outlet service.
