" Average" CCC for 2002-2004
#2

There was a GVWR boost associated with the introduction of the ZF suspension during the 2004 model year. Example, although not typical wet weight because of the shorter length: #710 2004 42'6" 2 slide with ZF suspension - GVWR 59,580# with 315's, wet weight 50,580#. Non-ZF suspension coaches typically had a 55,000# GVWR. Example: 2002 45'8" 2 slides GVWR 55,000# Actual weight with full fuel and water + some personal belongings in the coach was 50,800#. It is not uncommon for a Newell to be carrying 1,500# of water when the tank is full.

Many Newells had a GVWR that was weight limited based on the tire load capacity rather than the axle capacity.
