The same thing happened to me on the return trip when i bought my coach. I was just trying different things and when i tried to reset the breaker it felt crunchy like you described . I installed (2) 20 amps fuses in place of the breakers since i was on the side of the road. That was probably 4 years ago and it's still running great.
