Going there for the day with my family, 10 of us in the coach. I am considering driving there and coming in through kimberling city from the west of Branson so I avoid hwy 76. Through town.. Does anyone know if this is a good road?

You may want to google the kimberling city bridge and see if your ok with that....

Mark,
Take Hwy 65 north and go past Hwy 76. Continue three more exits to Hwy 465. Go left on Hwy 465 until it ends back at Hwy 76--about 5-6 miles. Go left on Hwy 76(westbound). You are now about 2-3 miles from Silver Dollar City. Get in left lane for turn into park. No bridges this way and you totally bypass Branson traffic.

Thank you everyone for the help.. Is there something unusual about kimberling city bridge. It's an extra 20-30 miles to get to the east side of Branson and back.

Made It to silver dollar city and back. Went up there on hwy 76 from the west.. No one should ever do that. I was stupid
