Diesel always unless the heat needs to be on overnight then I use the electric and the 20k generator uses on average 1/2 a gallon an hour or as some pointed out previously .60 and it uses far less on the AH because it only runs when the water temp is below 160.. I estimate less than a gallon of fuel every two or three days using my AH full time.
