leaving Friday for Florida. We have a week of reservations at camp gulf but the weather is looking cold we may head south to Tampa for a few days. Anyone know of any areas around Tampa, Sarasota, St. Pete, Bradenton area?

I stay at Fort Desoto Park in St Pete https://public.co.pinellas.fl.us/parks/ParksMain.jsp which is right on the water. It has a lot of trees and some of the site are challenging. I am on my way to bike week now and you can give me a call if you want to.

The St Petersburg KOA looked nice when we visited. There are a few here in Largo but tend to be older and not quite as well cared for, but cheaper. We are at Vacation Village on Ulmerton Rd, Largo which is one of these latter. It's not bad, just not great. Just down the road is Yankee Traveler that is a bit nicer but has almost no trees. Around the corner on Belcher Rd is Lee's Travel Resort which is about the same as here and also has trees. I believe they all can handle 45' if you let them know. People are beginning to leave so options are improving.

Hey Marc; figured out where you are headed yet. It's nothing but warm to hot here in Largo, air conditioning is getting a workout.

Marc,
Wish we could help but we were in Key West for two and a half months, not long enough IMHO. We stayed in the panhandle on the way back at Carabelle Beach RV Resort and there is an even newer one a little farther west, on the Gulf. Have also stayed in Destin. Good luck with Spring break!

well it's 11 pm and our 3 pm departure time has come and gone. That pesky thing called work got in the way and I didn't leave the office till 7. Then start preparing to leave. At 9pm I decided we will leave in the morn. So on the road by 8. Drive till we are tired. Trying to decide whether to go through pine bluff, Vicksburg , Jackson, Hattiesburg,. Or go Memphis Tupelo Birmingham. Any way pulling the stacker 1 car , 1 Rzr, 1 wife 2 kids and a dog.
