looks nice.
a curious thing is the pull up front slide forward facing window shade is down a few inches. unless they used a different mechanism than mine, it is either fully latched up or all the way down. it is made out of two pieces of aluminum covered with leather on mine.

Tom, my slide window is one piece like this one. I to did notice that is was down from the top a few inches. Up to a year ago I could only raise mine all the way up or all the way down. The upper latch that holds it at the top broke and it looks like the devil to get to, so I made a wedge to hold the shade any level of open I wanted it. This might be the case here, because they have a pillar hiding something at the bottom of the shade.

my upper latch broke. i took the entire thing apart. it was a lot of work. i had to remanufacture the wooden channels out of oak and put a new latch on.
works great now but took some time

yea, but....the wood track had split as well. so it was a little more too.
