I see this coach has the 6V92 motor. Is this enough power for a 40' coach towing a 4dr jeep, especially throughout the Rocky mountains?

Thanks,
Andy

If it is the 350hp version. The 77 coach I had with that engine worked just fine at 28,000lbs coach and 3300lb car.

I have the 6V92 and pull a 26' enclosed car trailer with a 2001 VW Beetle inside, plus 4 bicycles, and all my tools.....have pulled it over the Rockies, and Continental Divide many, many times. You don't go fast, but you get there. Since this is an '84 it more than likely has the turbo, which would make it a 350 horsepower engine.

1984 was a transition year. Most Newells had the 6V92, typically 350 HP or the 350 HP Cummins 903. Later in the model year, Newell began installing some 8V92's that were 450 HP.
