I thought about the grounds this morning at about 3am. Will pull the terminals off and clean/check them today. We did check 12v at ignition. I took the coach to the local Freightliner dealer here in Beaumont, TX and after much delay they sent a 12-year old technician out to look at the coach - he checked what he could for an hour and then finally called in the older electrician/tech. They checked the 12v with ignition and were very puzzled by the separate regulator. We did manage to jumper the regulator (blue and orange wire as I recall) and determined that the alternator was bad. After 6 hours sitting in the parking lot they gave me a nice bill of $400 (but I bought 3 fuel filters also)... they charge $165/hour for RVs! Lesson learned: ask what their rate is before pulling in to the shop to let the technicians guess as to the cause of your problems... now the microwave is dead... will be call Newell this morning...
