I did a pile of more work to this 76 Newell, If anyone is looking for a really nice classic that's road ready here it is
1976 Newell coach for sale.
Newell was the first company to build the pusher motorhome. (Rear engine) Each one was custom built and only produce about two dozen units a year from 1967 and is still in production today with new coaches costing upwards of 2 million making these very rare!! This one has 90,000 original miles, the original engine and trans has been upgraded to a 325hp 6 CTA 8.3 12 valve cummins turbo diesel and MD3060 allison 6sp trans. These engine and trans combinations are one of the best and most reliable on the road. Extensive mechanical work has been done and is ready to hit the road. The body and interior are still mostly original and could use some tlc but still in great condition.
It has 6500 onan quiet gen, 2 roof airs original back up camera, convertible bunks in the rear.
Restored through basement storage with large water and sewer tanks. Air brakes and rear air ride. Newell bridge chassis construction.
Brand new solarcool bronze reflective glass and new weatherstripping.
This is a very cool vintage coach, I drove it 2300 miles from Missouri 2 years ago, it drives like a dream and gets lots of attention!! I have alot of pictures and info about this coach including the original build sheet from Newell coach in Miami OK
