The ac pulley spinning freely tells you the pulley bearing is OK.

You need to turn on the ignition, without cranking the engine, and then turn on the AC. That will engage the AC clutch. Put a socket on the nut on the shaft of the AC compressor and see if you can turn it. You may have a locked or compromised compressor. It should turn with modest effort. All of this assuming no belts on the AC compressor pulley.
