Floor covering

This was a subject that I did not see addressed in another forum. I do this. BUT-I'm not here to solicit your coach, but rather with 40+ years of flooring experience- willing to help and guide you in your selection. Ernie

when i put the granite floors in my 90 i was very concerned about how to prevent cracking. ernie spent time with me on how to do it properly and he is a pro. my floors turned out amazing and no cracks at all after alot of miles and leveling up and down....thanks ernie

he is a valuable resource and i know he does a ton of coaches as well though i believe he is in high demand.

Ernie,

I am so sorry that I didn't meet you when I lived in Fort Worth.

Anyhoo, what are your thoughts about cork flooring in coaches?

richard, i am no ernie.

i saw the cork flooring in forest and cindy's coach and it was awesome.

i was staying in the shangra la hotel in singapore. uber 5 star place.

they had cork floors in the elevator in the wing i was in. they looked like new.

i really like the look, feel and durability of cork floors. i will use cork somewhere sometime.

now it is ernie's turn to comment.

Cork is some great material. It has come out in various shades and hues. You can glue it, float it, and the sound properties are great. Brenda and I were at Stanford Chapel in Calif in April. The entire floor was cork squares and has held up well with all the traffic

Another aspect of cork floor is that it is warmer than regular wood floor. We are very pleased with ours.
