Bay Door Electric Latches
#1

One of my electric bay door latches has failed and I'm using the key to lock it while in storage.  This is marginally inconvenient, but I really liked hitting that switch before I locked the door.  On these latches, is the failure typically the solenoid or in the wiring?  Has anyone else torn one of these down?  I can go at it myself, but if the wheel has already been invented, I'm happy to piggyback.  Here's a picture of the solenoid on my 98.  Well there would have been had I been able to figure out how to do it.
