To post a picture in a post, and not on the gallery. Use the attach photo feature at the bottom of the post. Then after you have attached the file, put the cursor where you want the picture, and click on the embed photo box. You have to be in full edit mode, not quick edit mode to do this.

Thanks, that's a big help on the solenoid.  Still having trouble posting the photo. When I click on the attach photo it asks for a url.  I'm not good enough to figure out what the url would be for a picture on my computer.
