Dash disassembled
#7

Jim,

I just eyeballed the alignment. You can use the holes where the Christmas trees were to determine where to put the velcro. I just stuck one side to the cover, and one side to the dash using those holes and wee bit of setback to keep the velcro from showing.

I didn't do this, but given the tenacity of the velcro grip, here is how I will do it in the future. Place some paint sitcks or other separators over the opening. Start the attachment at one end and pivot the cover for alignment. Them pull out the separators one at a time. The industrial velcro has a tremendous grip, and like I said earlier, the best way to separate it is to use a blunt blade to get it apart.
