So my niece, who lives on the other side of the state, tells me at Thanksgiving last week that she passes by a Newell on her way to work every morning. I did not put much weight into her comment, thinking that she didn’t really know what she was talking about. I had a chance to drive by there today and, low and behold, it is definitely a Newell. Just north of Muskegon Michigan. It looks like it’s been sitting there for a little while without much attention and there was nobody around to chat with about it. I also looked in the driver side window for an ID plate, did not see anything.

Interesting Newell. The side trim that made two 90 degree turns just behind the front seats was used in all the 1990 and 1991 models, most of the 1992 models (although not on mine), some of the 1993 models and at least one 1994 model, #447. I like the paint scheme, which is not original but looks very tasteful on that coach. Looks like a significantly newer Newell paint scheme.

I am not certain what year Newell moved the VIN plate to the drivers window. I know that by #409, a 1996, the VIN was displayed in the driver's window. Thanks for trying to find the VIN, I really appreciate it.
