Battery monitor
#1

im shopping for a battery monitor. So far the Victron BMV-700 ve. seems to fit my needs. I’m interested in others experiences (positive or negative) with Victron or any other.

I put a BMV-700 in my '98 and recently put one in my LazyDaze. Very nice with lots of information and customization available. You can add a bluetooth dongle to it to get the info on your phone or tablet, or the BMV-712 has bluetooth built in. The 702 can also give info on 2 different battery groups.
I'm thinking of adding a couple small solar panels to my LD and will probably use the Victron SmartSolar controller with built in bluetooth.

Yep, Victron is the way to go. Only downside with BMV is it's not programmable by their computer module, but that's irrelevant if you just need a standalone device.
