Alternator
#1

My coach is a 1995 with a 60 series DD

On the way home from our last trip the amp gauge
Stopped showing a charge. I thought the alternator
Has failed.
I went to the coach to test/remove BUT when I started the
Engine the gauge jumped up to 50 amps
Any ideas on what is going on????

Need to replace our ThermoKing alternator on our 8V92? Has anyone done this and what did you use?  Thanks so much.

I had forgotten about this post. Seems this issue and your recent 12V light issue have the batt disconnect in common. Might want to think about replacing the switch
