I'm still not certain what years the various electronic control versions were used by DD, or by Newell. It does seem that Newell didn't always use the latest version.
My Google search didn't show much info on the 92 series DDEC, and the results were more focused on the 60 series engines. The search did show to my surprise, that the 2 stroke DDs are still being made and used in marine, military, and industrial applications throughout the world.
