I looked at the photo of the VIN and came to the same conclusion you did on the VIN but that would be a 1982 therefore the 10 digit (the C) must really be a G. That makes it a 1986. It should be coach number 101. It had 83,500 miles in 1995 in Lakeside, AZ and 202,000 miles on 5/16/2012 in Napoleon, OH.

Very well could be a G vs C.   Hard to tell in my picture.  Pretty sure this is considered an 86 from everything I have researched thus far.  Supposedly this went back to Newell for some extensive work with the previous owner.... Do you have access to records from Newell?  Where did you get the mileage number from 1995 in AZ?
