What kind of mileage do you get pulling the trailer?  What does the trailer weigh?

In my case, speed makes a bigger difference in fuel burn.
Against the gov ( about 81 mph) I'm enjoying about 6 mpg.
At 65 ish, i get almost 7 mpg.

Last trip, I tried to hold it at 60 to 65 in order to get better MPGs -- that lasted about 10 miles.

Bottom line is that I LOVE it & wouldn't use it any less if it was getting less mpg!!!

I have an '82 Newell Classic with the DD 6V92 engine (turbo) and get about the same mileage with, or without the enclosed car trailer.  The main determinate for my coach mpg is my speed, which I hold at about 60 mph using cruise control.  I get about 6.5-7 mpg depending on the terrain, and sometimes the wind (following, or head).  I have about 164,000 miles on the coach now, and since it passed 150,000 miles (broken in now) the mpg has improved slightly, and oil consumption has gone way down.  We have put about 61,000 of those miles on the coach in our 10 years of ownership.
