I just ordered, from Newell, an entire set of bags. I’ll see what I get and let you all know.

Newell sent me air bags that are NOT direct replacements. I don't like the way this is playing out. I've sent a email to my service advisor asking additional questions. 

If anybody knows of a supplier it would be great to know.

Do you know what the part number is of your airbag? I was looking online to order a spare or two for mine but it appears they no longer exist or are manufactured. The 1" air hose hole isn't popular with the truckers I guess....

 What did you order from Newell and what did you actually receive? 

NC 700160 = Contitech 876MB, PN #73453  = for Front Axles x2
NC 707750 = Contitech 782NP04 PN #74340 = for Drive Axles x4
NC ?      = Contitech 661N PN# 60025 = for Tag Axles x2

I ordered from this company before when Newell didn't have in stock, no problems except that they accept polish złoty currency only.

I found that company tonight and sent them an email.  

How did you handle the currency exchange?

I use Bank of America online banking to send interntional wire payment, its give you option to choose the type of forgein currency for the recepient.

International wire transfers are free of charge at BOA online (vs demostic wire whic costs $30). I guess BOA makes money by marking up the currency exchange rates.

It was about a year ago when the this supplier told me they do not accept US Dollars, the answer was no. But you can ask again and see if anything changes.

They sent back that that don’t ship to non UE countries. 

Newell replied they have some on order.

You have to use a "freight forwarder" or a friend in EU, have them or you place the order for 'export', this way you are not paying the 24% VAT.

I’m waiting to hear back from Newell but it sounds like they have identified new bags for my era coach but a modification to the structure will be required.

I’m hoping to get details soon. I’m content modifying the coach for bags easily sourced here provided they will perform like or better than original ZF Continental bags.

Will advise when I hear something.

Jeff have you gotten a resolution on the air bags yet? I think we had the same airbags issues.
