Driver's seat popping fuse
#1

My driver's seat seems to blow its fuse when I try to adjust the recline, even with no load on the seat.

I really don't want to put a bigger fuse in, so does anyone have some trouble shooting advice?

Thanks!

David,
I have never heard of a seat blowing a fuse…so I really dont have anything to add…but as a way of getting started troubleshooting…

Do you have a seat similar to https://knoedler.com/air-chief-std-and-low-rider/. ?

I swapped out the old seat for a Knoedler in 653. Loved the seat. Had all sorts of cool features including a heat function.

Are you sure there is nothing binding the seat from reclining? Try to move the seat all the way forward and then attempt to recline. Just some ideas.

Might be a wire that has chaffed grounding the power supply.
