I found them online. They are called cones for use with butyl fittings. Plumbingsupply.com. I ended up cutting out a bunch of unused butyl pipe from what may have been a 120v pump. I have two 12v pumps and that's perfect for my use. Somewhere along the way, previous owner had someone scab on some clear pipe to make a u-turn back to the filter. All that pipe was rigged together and unsupported. Unfortunately, there are two spots I cannot get my Pex crimper into so I will have to use shark bite push on fittings. Not liking that idea but since my brother redid so much of his plumbing using those in his house 9 years ago at least makes me feel confident they will hold up to our measly 35psi of pressure. I had bought a new filter but felt the original top half on the filter was much stronger so I put in new 3/4" brass fittings and started building new Pex from that.

In the picture is the cone and how it is used. I did buy some new cones for areas like the shower valve in case that one leaks. I already converted the sinks and toilet. I may pull out the washer/dryer to replace the hoses for good measure. (incidentally, I did put in 1/4 turn valves for the sinks and toilet.)  If I had my choice, I would remove some of those valves in the water bay seeing that there are shut offs at the sinks.
